Derick will go through the Temple on May 17, 2008 for his own endowments prior to the wedding sealing on June 6, 2008. He has waited a long time for this. He is the kindest most generous gentleman I have come to know. He is so kind to Ariana and the rest of her family. He is nonjudgemental and loves the Lord with all his heart and has taken to the gospel of Jesus Christ like a duck to water. Our branch loves him and are all thrilled to have him join Ariana in marriage. Way to go Derick….I am proud of you!

That is awesome for Derick. That is a lot of love your kids are putting out there. It's incredible to think of the eternal impact your kids are having. They must be able to shine where ever they are. Congratulations Derick.
derick - hope your experience in the temple was everything you needed it to be. what a wonderful way to begin a marriage. can't believe it is already down to just days away now! can't wait to see you all.
dinah - a comment you made has me wondering...do you have a photographer for the wedding? i am hoping to follow him/her around, begging, borrowing, and stealing photo ideas for the wedding i will be shooting the following friday?!
Sharry: We do not have an "professional photographer" but Jeff's father is going to shoot some shots for us. He can handle a camera pretty well. This is a "shoestring" wedding and "a professional" was just out of range....However, you can look at Ben and Julie's "poses or groupings" and get ideas from their professional shots if you really need ideas.....but, you seem to have done really well from what I saw on Tru Blu of Ali's wedding, so I don't know that we will be of any help to you. I saw Donna's pictures of Simone, so I know the difference of someone who really knows what they are doing versus candid shots, but we just can't stretch that far. So bring your camera and practice all you want:)! There will be lots of other cameras snapping and I am sure we can get some really great shots of the kids for the official wedding scrapbook page.....Love ya lots....di
